The Horeca course will run from the beginning of September/October 2009 until September 2010.
The course is full time and attendance is obligatory. Students will alternate their time between classroom input and practical work experience with our sponsor companies and members of the A.F.D.B. (3 placements totalling approximately 5 months of the course).
:: COURSE STRUCTURE AND PROFILES
The course is made up of consists of 7 core modules and an additional eight module for the evolution of the distribution work placement project.

The beverage sector and wholesaler profession(152 hrs).
_ MODULE 2
Accounting, finance and management control(92 hrs).
_ MODULE 3
Marketing and sales (160 hrs).
_ MODULE 4
Logistics and IT (136 hrs).
_ MODULE 5
General culture, personal development and introduction to enterprise(64 hrs).
_ MODULE 6
Law and tax (60 hrs).
_ MODULE 7
Exams and presentations of distribution and production work placements (74 hrs).
_ MODULE 8
Business project (16 hrs).
:: PROFILES – WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR THE CANDIDATES
The course is aimed at young people interested in working in drink distribution, specialising particularly in HO.RE.CA. (Hotel, Restaurants and Cafes). Candidates should be either university graduates or hold high – school diplomas, together with a minimum of 2 years relevant work experience in this field.

The course aims to form top businessmen and women, managers and technicians with the necessary specialist competence and professionalism to enter into these companies involved in the production and wholesale distribution of beverages.

:: THE SELECTION PROCESS: 11 july, 22 july, 16 september 2009.
Due to a restricted number of places, just 25 students may take this specialist course each year.
Selection lasts a day and includes:

> Group work
> Personal interview.
